Changes to Concussion Railgun and BioCom TU Mine
I would like to suggest to the devs to make the following changes to the BioCom Tellar Urlam Mine and the Concussion Railgun:
BioCom Tellar Urlam Mine - Remove the character-limit for manufacturing. They are a great weapon and each character shouldn't have a life-long limit to the number that can be made.
Concussion Railgun - Make them reloadable. They are a sweet idea, but noone uses them because after all that work they are useless once the ammo is depleted.
Would appreciate feedback on these ideas. Thank you, safe flights and long nights from [TRI] Trident Arms Syndicate, your friendly neighborhood arms distributor!

Conc rails are already reloadable.

+1 to the others
Conc rails can be situationally fun, and more useful now, but could use a few tweaks for more practicality.

hadn't noticed that Savet, thanks.
What kind of specifics do you think could be altered to make the Conc Rail more practical?

more concussion
Lower weight primarily.
The real problem with large port weapons is there are few ships that are agile that can use them. The exception would be the rev3, or warthog variants....but the weight is too high to allow using light energy in the small port. The weight even makes a prom somewhat sluggish.

Yes! +1 to removing the silly manufacturing limit on the TUs!
Also, I have proposal for new stats for the concussion rail:
Concussion Railgun (current stats+suggested buffs):
Damage: 1400 ---> 1600
Speed: 400 m/s ---> 440 m/s
Energy: 0
Delay 2 s
Mass: 4000kg ---> 2000kg
Targeting: None
Ammo: 10
Unlocked: Manufacturing
Obviously very strong change to it, but I think it is very much needed. I have been playing VO for a good while now and look at quite a lot of PvP experience and never have I seen anyone use the Concussion Railgun in serious combat even when it has great potential. The mass is really a problem. It needs to be reduced drstically, it is not like we can buy this weapon en mass, we have to manufacture it so that justifies good stats.

+1 to removing the char limit on TU mines.
They are rarely used and for a reason. Handling them is tricky (you can easily explode along with it) and reload cost is hefty.
But... TU mines are great fun - yesterday we made an experiment by laying down a big TU mine field in B-8. This is actually tricky since you have to lay them out at least 600m from each other in order not to cause the chain reaction and we were partially successful with it.
At one point Retractile deliberately run into one stack causing a chain reaction and the whole B-8 went on fire - magnificent sight. Thanks for the lightshow Ret. :)
Concussion railguns are rarely used since they require manufacturing and are non reloadable.
Nobody bothers with them when you can use adv rails instead.

Like Savet said, they already are reloadable.
I wish concussion rails were reloadable.
+1 OP and Sieger's stats.
Manufacturing limit bugs Neon because he can't sell them. And bugs the rest of us because we can't buy them.
