Make Mine Limit Per Type
Change the mines-per-sector limit to apply to types of mines and not just mines in general.
I.e. a person would lay up to 42 of EACH type of mine.
Maybe we'd finally see some use of the drain mines then!

+1
And I'd love to argue in favor of an increase of the mine limit. 42 may be the answer to everything. but it is surely not the answer to the mine limit per sector!

Well, it's 42 per-player, per-sector, but I agree, increase it.
What are drain mines?
They suck out the energy from your powercell.
You might also see more of Drain Mine use if it wasn't limited to fucking Serco space too.
Drain mines are sold all over the place, not just serco space.
Shitty, why does that even matter? Get your Serco alt to drop some drain mines to your trident. Watch nobody give a damn. Put a million mines out and sit there in an empty sector without enemies and shoot your mouth off.
Drain mines might see more use if they weren't based off prox mines.
Maybe there is some context to calling someone (I can only assume Kierky must be AP?) 'Shitty' that I am unaware of, and I most definitely don't want to come off like the turtle dude, but how is that even remotely appropriate to be expressed on this forum twice?
It's appropriate because Ore is a troll.
He just calls him shitty. In-game too. It really doesn't make much sense.
That's rich coming from you Wally, considering you started this joker thread.
Death, you are coming off like the "turtle dude."
It's right. Off-topic comments about people's family, personality, history, actions, life, mass (yep, mass-those Fat Momma jokes), speech, etc. are harmful, insulting, distracting, a lame attempt at an insult, etc.
Wait, since when did I become a school principal?

Frankly, I mostly enjoy the bits of added 'texture' in the conversation here. There should be limits however. Some assholery belongs on the rp or other forums.
This is neither church nor school nor work and I sure as hell am not being paid or otherwise rewarded to make me be nice to people. Nor do I want to be in such a horrific and soul crushing environment. If I make an idiotic suggestion or comment here I fully expect to be taken to task for my stupidity. Maybe the next time I have something to say, it will be with a little more forethought. Maybe, just maybe, I will have learned something so long as I don't become butthurt and retaliatory but rather actually try to understand what someone is telling me. Or maybe other people are just passionately wrong and in another year they'll be posting a revised version of my suggestion as though it were their own.
As far as I'm concerned, you would do well to grow some thicker skin m8 and stop trying to play daddy to the grownups.
