they should add seasonal events like one for christmas and things like that, for example for the christmas u guys could add like a double XP thing that lasts for a week or so, like so that if u kill a dentek and normally would get 20 XP, u would get 40 XP or 30 XP from it

I wanna see a new maud variant named "The Sled" The stats should be very crappy of course combat wise, but should have a very fast turbo and high cargo so that any good ol' jolly fellow can deliver his goods faster ;)

btw, every christmas they do a free play period for everyone, and they make all the cargo boxes look like presents.

But generally, hosted events are something the game lacks without a doubt. Like a great many other things, the reason is limited dev time.

That's a good question; the free week predates this game's F2P support. It used to be that anybody who had previously subscribed got to play free for a week. I don't know how they intend to treat that in this new regime. Will former lite-subs get to play as well, or only former premium-subs, and if so will they be back at the lite-level or do they get a week of premium? Will they shift focus from trying to re-hook old customers to trying to attract new ones by making it free-premium for all instead of just free for past subscribers?

We'll have to see what the developers themselves say about this. I await the red handles!

Last year the lite subs became full subs. I think letting the f2p players see the full game for a week might sell some subscriptions. Just my $0.02

momerath42 was running weekly events for a little while there. I wonder what happened with that.

@jopelinski: your finances are obviously none of my business, but maybe people will be generous with friend keys if you make yourself useful by running events, testing mods/missions, writing plugins, helping newbs etc.

You can only use one friend key. After that it doesn't let you since you now count as a former subscriber instead of a trial account. The only way to play indefinitely using friend keys is to keep creating fresh accounts every two weeks on fresh email addresses. Might as well just do F2P and save the trouble.

i have already used one friend key and i will think about the event thing later when my parents give me my nexus 10 back (played too much so...). but for now ill be on my phone which is LG optimus L5 e610, it is a pretty lousy phone i admit it, but if i happen to start making some events ill think about it first cause im only a F2P player, im by the way getting good atdoing 3d objects on my tab, so devs if you need any 3d models for ships i can if i have time from school, think about it and probaply make a couple of examples for you, im gonna go study programming after high school. if you need any help for free ill do what i can, im also a noob at java mand android development but im learning fast.

Listen to your parents; they want what's good for you (I'm a new dad myself). :-)

Regarding contributing 3D objects, etc.: this thread may be a good place to start. The devs have left pretty detailed instructions about what's involved.

You'll find a lot of people interested in programming in this community.

thanks Phaserlight, ill go look at that thread now, and good that other people are interested in programming too, i know my parents want whats best for me but my step father hates games, and doesnt like the fact that i spend a lot of time gaming or learning to pogram, im a nerd and thats what i like to do, learning to program is more like a hobby to me, i rarely are happy.
