Arf, because we don't need more shit that we already have.

What shit is this that we already have? By we I mean the UIT, because this is one of their ships sold in their space.

A biotech company needs or has the expertise to build their own awesome fighters? No. They would just buy from a company or nation that specializes in making fighters, not make their own. Or even just lease their services outright.

BioCom's vultures should be identical to the regular vultures you can get, as should most of their ships. Really biocom's buffing should be in auto-targetting when it comes to weapons since their expertise is in cybernetics and AI and that falls within reason to mean auto-targetting and homing abilities.

Axia at least makes sense that they would have significant variants as they deal directly with various technologies and corporate espionage. Where is it getting all this extra power and thrust from in every direction and more armor. A 7% increase in armor, but only 2% increase in mass. Would make sense if cargo was reduced (as far as thrust increases) and as far as the 7% increase in armor only being 2% increase in mass, that could also make sense if we lost the large port.

Not that i think everything has to be realistic at the expense of being usable in the game. But at least some attempt should be made at giving/keeping with the various Corps different personalities and functions.

Thanks everyone for the latest feedback. I'll comment on a few.

Savet - I agree with your point. I meant to have the BioCom Vulture fill a niche which it would if it were to have increased armor.

cellsafemode - As for the Vulture I'd like to address your last point. We don't have to be super serious with considering BioCom's market role. It's still well likely that they come up with an enhanced model in their own way.
I don't get why you listed percentages about the Wraith. The increase doesn't have to be all equal.I meant to make it a little more useful for combat, not to make it a ship with very high bad stats. And removing the large port would make it completely useless...

TheRedSpy - What are you talking about, Willy?

Yes then we'd end up with a very heavy, very slow, very fat, and very slow vulture. Well done.

no you wouldn't end up slow and heavy. I didn't say to increase the mass to make up for the armor. I said fine (for axia) buff those the way you wanted, but remove cargo space and large port to logically justify how they gave it more armor and more thrust without drastically increasing the mass and only a minor increase in turbo energy usage.

I was not looking to logically justify any changes here. I meant to suggest changes that give this ship a convincing reason to be picked up and used,

We should buff >80% of the ships then, which would be nice.

+1 to the wraith buff --- would be nice to get this ship model back into regular use

-1 to the BioCom Vulture. Alternatively I'd motion to discontinue it because we have too many damn vulture variants as it is.

BioCom has close ties with the Serco Dominion. Because of its similar but slightly inferior stats I always assumed the Vulture XT was an export version of the SVG.

It stands for "x-tra tough" and is broken until we buff the armor and make it epic.
