Arolte and I keep saying this to those who do not understand: download the Freespace or Freespace 2 demo and fly around using the mouse to steer.

Dampers are not the problem.
Mouse sensitivity is not the problem.
Lack of a mouse lock is the problem.

It's in Freelancer too, I think.

Also, like in Freelancer, we really need to be able to set "group waypoints". Just a little dot floating in space so that we can help newbies and others find hidden wormholes, or whatever.

That's quite impossible. As I stated previously in this thread, anyone who uses the mouse gets the wobble effect.
