I can help with Russian localization. As a translator. If you will send me texts i will translate it. Or if you need some one another help with it, i will help, if it will be in my competence.

Thanks! That's much appreciated. I've actually been reaching out to people recently for this (Genka has offered as well), as we would like to look at this before long.

However, we have some significant technical caveats first.. we don't have an implementation of font-rendering for non-latin languages right now. So, cyrillic support is something we have to add at an actual engine level.

But, once we get that going, we'll probably reach out to those who have volunteered, like yourself, to at least try and get the offline tutorial localized.

All of the game strings will be a larger undertaking. The problem is that they can change quite a bit (the tutorial missions have changed several times, and are about to change again), and would need to be re-localized every time. The challenges of an MMO vs a static mobile game.

Well, actually I asked him directly, since we're having a lot of problems with unhappy Russians giving us one-star reviews because it isn't in their language, and I thought he might help me make a custom description for Russian language users on the Play Store.

I thought it was kind of him to offer to help with the greater localization, which is going to be a lot of work. Dunno why that's so funny.

Well, it's the internet so we could easily be talking about two different people here, but the Genka I know from #vendetta can't speak Russian to save his life. My understanding is he's an American with Russian heritage who pretends he's down with everything Russian but hasn't actually gotten around to learning anything besides the swear words. Not the person you'd want writing the description for you game (or maybe exactly the person, Russians are pretty crazy).

On the one hand, for the past couple of years I have lived under the impression that it was not actually very funny to tell someone a lie and then laugh at that person for believing you. I even tried to come clean, but I'm afraid that only strengthened TRS's conviction that I was deeply embarassed by the sorrid "truth" I had "let slip" earlier.
