touchscreen targeting toggle for android
I've just recently got the droidbuttons plugin set up to improve my maneuverability in combat and the one big problem I still have playing on a droid is when I accidentally target an astroid (untargeting my enemy in the process) while trying to maneuver in combat.
I supose touchscreen targeting could be usefull in non-hostile situations like mining or looking for a specific piece of cargo after a battle but it would be nice if there was something similar to the f/a toggle but for the touchscreen targeting so we could turn it off before going into battle and avoid any potentially fatal oopses.

maybe a lil' prayer would help?
I thought DroidButtons did have an option to turn off the Touch-to-Target feature.
The development version of DroidButtons does support enabling/disabling the Touch-to-Target. It also supports changing what targeting command is used. But these options are only available when removing the default HUD touch controls.
However, what is being asked for is an official way to toggle it on/off. I could always make such a toggle available in DroidButtons but this isn't the place to discuss that.

We can look at adding an option for this.
Would it be possible to add a radar menu that will have toggles to display objects or not and a toggle to make an object target able that way we could switch off display of wreckage and make asteroids un targetable
Ive also found picking up canisters on android to be a very tricky affair maybe larger scoop zone would be helpful aswell
