Don't promise rewards in events if you aren't prepared to give them
Last saturday was the second event I participated in (the first being that refugee one in latos) where there was a prize offered for winners and/or participants, and where ultimately the dev promised that the prize would be "placed in our inventories", but ultimately no prize was given.
Not only was no prize given, but no accounting for what the final result was.
If you are going to hold events, fine, I quite enjoy destroying capships whether it's an organized event or not... but don't promise prizes and things if you aren't going to deliver. It really seems like a cheap way to get us to play and test your code.

Have you let the devs know that you did not receive the item you were expecting?
Both times we were instructed to "wait" and they would be given "later". Afaik, nobody has gotten any item from the event on Saturday, so it would go without saying the devs know about that. As for the other event, I'm fairly certain I spoke with the devs in game at the time.
I thought some shit bugged out and the event ended up not going as planned, hence the delay in scoreboard and prizes.
Chill out maaaaaaaan.

I thought the event went smoothly from what I could tell and heard since I was there. There were some hiccups, but that was to be expected since the whole reason we were doing it was to test the code.
So, wait, are you saying Saturday the 17th, or Saturday the 10th? ("Last" Saturday, this being written on a Sunday, often implies the week before the previous day). We had events on both dates.
Also, if you're looking for a specific response on this kind of issue, you can submit a support ticket (this does not really seem like a "suggestion", anyway).
I don't know what the situation is with score accounting and prizes, but I'll ask.

17th
The "Hostile Fleet" event (where I never got to kill anything because I was constantly killed by other players).

Waaaahhhh.

I don't want to list all the reasons/excuses for my failure to give out prizes on Saturday. I thought I had been clear, though, that I'd put whatever prizes I could (damage info was lost, but I can do kills) into people's inventory, but that it was something I'd have to work on, to make possible. I'll get them out by Wednesday night at the latest. Sorry for the confusion.
