I think is the time to connect more benefits/bonus to Badges like more lucky drops to players with Hive Queen Hunter III or more XP and loots when Veteran Hive Hunter III ....ect...

Also now with new Capships upcoming is good to put in game new Badges http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/21368?page=8 and benefit/bonus like faster recharge of shields and many more...:)

Having more drops for people who are more experienced does make a kind of sense by representing them placing their shots more carefully to disable the enemy without destroying the loot. That does go against the anti-grind skill-based nature of the game, but it at least has some vague logic behind it. I wouldn't be terribly bothered if it were added, as long as it wasn't a huge difference.

Having badges result in gaining more XP, on the other hand, does not make any kind of sense. Badges also should not impact shield recharge or anything directly combat related like that, even if you could argue that it represents more skilled use of the shield projector or whatever. This is VO, not WoW or EVE.

+1 to the general idea of rewarding players for long term efforts.

+1 to the idea of some sort of skill bonus/reward for milestone badges/achievments/levels. To be a true RPG needs these to give a point to leveling and focusing on developing and personalizing a character.
