Increase Firefly and Yellow Jacket ammo
These Missiles are quite useless right now. I suggest these quick changes:
Yellow Jackets:
Ammo: 8 --> 10/12
Damage per Missile: 1800
Total damage potential: 14400 --> 18000/21600
Fireflies:
Ammo: 6 --> 14/16
Damage per Missile: 1200
Total damage potential: 7200 --> 16800/19200
––––
As a comparison the stats of the large port Stingrays are:
Ammo: 14
Damage per Missile: 2800
Total damage potential: 39200
And the Geminis (which are incomparably better missiles than Yellow Jackets and Fireflies):
Ammo: 18
Damage per Missile: 950
Total damage potential: 17100

They really are garbage. +1 to any sort of buff to make them useful.
+1...
+1 They're really not useful at all in their current state, even when you first get the levels to buy them.
+1, absolutely.

+1 we should be able to fire more of these crappy missiles
Are we looking for just more of the same or are there specific roles for these?
A slightly buffed firefly would make for a good match with Locust swarms, if Locust requirements are lowered a bit. Kind of a stage before Gem / Chaos combos. I'd also raise the requirements for Gems.
For Yellow Jackets, improve the speed to between 90 & 100 m/s and fuel to 15s, leave the ammo alone and see how they do at cracking Trident shields.
Also, I'd like to see a varient that complements Avalons.
Otherwise I'm neutral on the OP as I'm not sure increased ammo will result in increased use or create new opportunities for gameplay.
Edit: Alternatively leaving the Yellow Jacket speed alone and increasing ammo and fuel to 20s would turn it into a great tool to crack static queen shields with on a quad Yellow Jacket hornet.

They need buffing, but simply adding a few more useless shots is not a buff.

Moving the number of missles carried to a much higher number would offset thier low proformance and make them a lot more usefull but I would suggest tripling thier capacities instead to 24 and 18....
Buffing thier other stats would kind of defeat thier being lower level weapons.

How does a much higher number of misses offset anything?
