The IBG is already best in class. The only thing it is missing is the 225 turbo speed everything else is getting to match the valk.

Roda - you wanna take the best light fighter in the game and give it the interceptor ability too? I know that question doesnt mean much to you judging by the post you made.

I'd support the OP's suggestion but would tie the buff to a 1/3 reduction in armor. You want to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee? Be ready to be just as easy to crush as those insects are.

What's really nuts is that the Valk has a better mass/thrust ratio than the IBG, and a ton more armor and firepower as well.

This. There is absolutely no reason to fly an IBG rather than an X-1.

Reason #3: 70m/s cruise speed when you are that light is MASSIVE

The only buff I'd make is 225m/s Turbo Speed, it already has the drain to match.

The ship is already super quick. It just gets laggy if its any quicker.
