Compact carrier variant fighter
I figured I should flesh out this idea a bit more.
Here's modified version of the Vulture light fighter that employs a foldable wing design to allow more efficient use of capital ship hangar space. Since this ship is intended to be deployed directly into combat from a capital ship's docking bay, it is not fitted with a jump drive, allowing a reducion in mass without sacrificing armor.
Vulture MkIV-C "Carrier Variant"
Licenses: 5/5/-/-/-
Volume as cargo: 100cu (Down from 150cu)
Armor: 8900
Cargo capacity: 0cu (Down from 2cu)
Weapons: 2 small ports
Mass: 3400kg (Down from 3900kg)
Thrust: 220N
Turbo Thrust: 230N
Spin torque: 7.0Nm
Max Speed: 65m/s
Turbo Speed: 220m/s
Turbo Energy: 60/s
No jump capability

Good idea! This would actually make it useful in carrier combat, unlike using a Valkyrie fighter.

+1 to having something like this

Hm..
Reduction to cargo it can carry (only a plus)
Reduction in CU that it takes to carry it (only a plus)
Reduction in ships's mass (only a plus)
So tell me again, do you still think this is a good idea?

Shatter, it has no jump capability.

Yeah the reliance on a "mother-ship" adequately negates the upgrades, I feel.

-1 Just seems a bit nitpicky now. If we get this, next someone will propose a ship with an even smaller signature and elite characteristics.
The Trident M cargo was already increased to accommodate for storing a ship. I think adding this suggestion would go beyond the scope of what a Trident has been used for. It's not a carrier, it's a small support capital ship: Cargo and repair/reload. Sure you can alter it's purpose and use it as a carrier now, but you shouldn't be able to get unique, elite ships.
I like the idea of a carrier and specific, non-jumpable ships only available from within a capship. But not for the Trident M. And that type of suggestion would be considering file-able.

All ships without jump are a dumb idea. Stop proposing them.
All of RedSpy's posts are dumb. Stop posting.
+1 to jumpless trident accessories.
