This happens too often..... In the heat of battle group member says 'I need a key to dock'... then I go to the key screen and the background becomes invisible so I can no longer read the name of the person requesting, who has a long and illogically spelled name that I can't then type in. So I exit the screen, scroll back chat, write down the name, go back and grant the key. If the background were only grayed a little instead of almost completely, it would help.

There's also the /key command you can use to give people access from chat. This has the added bonus of working with the game's tab-completion for names.

Indeed it is. I'd like it if the tab-completion feature was extended to work in text fields where the player is expected to enter other character names too.
