With the faction changing and hopefully the addition of more Union specific ships; Perhaps there should be a UIT barracks in Azek. Currently there are only TPG and Orion stations in Azek. The Verasi UIT station is a commercial station as well. The only WH to have some kind of military Guard is the Arta Caelestis system. This might be an incentive to use the UDV Raptor if it were available near a combat hotspot.

It always has seemed a little strange that the UIT would go through all the trouble of fortifying both sides of the Ukari/Arta Caelestis wormhole, only to leave Azek completely unguarded.

or as an option, a TPG barracks. They have a capital station, why not a barracks? We wouldn't want Orion to get too big for their britches, now, would we? There's a good sub-contractor…

Verasi on the other hand: Make O-7 a UIT Barracks, placed there to monitor the Axia/Valent tensions. I mean, the station is SO far away from the warp-in points, who likes trading there? It's like the truck stop just north of the Grapevine on I-5. Yeah it's your last stop before tackling that mountain, but damn it, could it BE any further off the freeway?
