Add a mission that ultimately allows for the manufacture of a homing beacon that can be attached to cargo or addons that the builder purchases at the time of manufacture.

The cargo can then be dropped and the beacon transmits a signal that reveals its location in the same way the current Buddy system works. Once the cargo is sold, the beacon terminates with the last known location. But if the cargo can be taken back (purchased, or from ship debris, or recovered before picked up) it can be reused by the builder. If the cargo is not sold, it's location will continue to transmit for X:XX hours.
