in light of new updates, such as launching from own capship, why not add the ability to drop your cargo (such as Ships) directly into the capship hold. You have to be docked already to drop your cargo in. You could do this with an XC.

Being able to load/unload cargo from your capital ship would also fix the "How the heck do i get rid of these extra ships in my cargo hold?" problem.

And capships would step forward to the position of "moving space stations with reduced functionality and greater attack power" compared to fixed space stations. But definitely this is a good idea. On the other hand it requires another tab in the operations for the goods exchange between capship's and docked ship's holds.

We're looking at ways of handling this. Because of the multi-user nature, it makes things a lot more complicated and "different" from the way inventories have ever been utilized before in the game (even by stations). So, we're looking at how we can go about this best, also enabling "shared storage" with key-based access where people can define who can "load" vs "unload" or "both" and so on.
