Hi All Heres my Suggestion Short and sweet: Would It be possible to get a port for the Wii U Console I would love to be able to play this fine game on my console.
Get out.
Now.
Now.
Does anyone know any good bodybag rental sites?
Oh I See the Trolls are up late now if you cant comment with something useful or constructive you can Frack Off as your taking up valuable space kthxbye
The reason we hate your suggestion is because we already have too many ports.
No more development time should be spent on porting VO to your toilet monitor unless it is critical to the business' survival to do so. Seriously, it takes lots of time away from making the game better.

Porting to mobile saved the game. Literally, we would not be here today playing if it hadn't happened. There is no denying that.
It also set back actual development work on said game by...what...two years or so? At least? The only reason that we aren't toting torches and pitchforks at Guild's front door is because we know that it was either that or losing the game.
And unless Guild is in a situation like that again, where it is literally port or die, it's time to work on the goddamn game. Guild think it's time to work on the goddamn game. Their loving, understanding, loyal, supportive fans will maul them if they do anything that isn't working on the goddamn game.
Porting is a time and effort intensive activity that takes away time, money, and effort that could be used, by the pitifully small, already struggling, four-man team, to work on the goddamn game.
I agree. An actual, honest-to-god console port would be awesome. It also requires more than the team can give right now or for the foreseeable future. Come back in five years and try again.
Short and sweet answer?
You're asking for too damn much. Give them a little room to breathe.

Is Ouya not an honest to god console?
OUYA was a very trivial port, since it runs on Android.
I'd feel more optimistic about it if the tech news last week wasn't full of articles about how poorly the Wii U is selling outside of Japan.
no
No. And here's why no one else is either:

I still have a GameCube, and it had a rudimentary modem that was never well implemented, let's port to that!
Consoles generally do not allow games to self-update. They require all changes to go through "Validation", which means like a month of testing and sitting in a queue and BS. Sometimes the console maker also charges you $10k for every update you push, to encourage you to never update (Microsoft). It's not a very good environment for an MMO, which is why you can't play World of Warcraft on your Xbox 360 (or One, or PS4, or anything else).
Also, at the present time, I would have to be dragged kicking and screaming into rolling another port. Or there would have to be a dump-truck full of money backed up to our office. Not likely in any event.

So that's what was in the dump-truck?
Wasn't multiple dump trucks full of cash how Samsung paid Apple for damages in the patent case as a demonstration of how absurd they thought the case was?
