I think there is a pretty good player economy already. I've made millions by yelling "STUFF TO SELL" on 100.
But if you guys want to have an impact on the economy, just make everything limited - like TRS said. Maybe make it so you can manufacture everything, but also make it so you can buy things - albeit at a higher price. Add a zero on to every price tag, says I.

We're not looking for a guild specific solution or a website external to VO. What's needed is an exchange internal to the game. That's what I'm building ATM.
