Attack/Defend Mode, Team Target
As its a nice thing to group together with other members of your team to go for a flag run, cargo run, killing spree?, perhaps some additional features for grouping together would be nice.
First, lets have a key/option to group small/large gatherings of ships into mini-teams.
We could do this by, say. Typing /me jointeam #### with any number bewteen, 1 and.. 10000000?... or whatever number you want for the high point.
After a few ships become part of a mini team, we add an option for 2 flight modes while in these teams. Attack, and Defend.
All this basically means is that ships that need to be defended, or are going to choose what targets to shoot at, sit in defend mode, and give orders to the other ships. When the ship in defend mode targets an enemy, the ships in attack mode have all their HUD's automatically target the same ship. Letting them attack in group formation, and destroy the target more quickly. If a second target is picked, and the first is not yet destroyed, half of the attack mode ships, closest to the target, stay, and the other half are assigned to the new target.
You could set number limits for the number of ships needed to multi-target. And also allow it to work for up to 4-5 ships at a time with small fighter groups assigned.
