Create an update/issue tracker

Sep 21, 2013 greenwall link
I know this has been suggested before in various forms, but here it is again.

Create a tracker for us to see what upcoming fixes/updates/additions will be. Bonus if we can vote to elevate or lower the priority.

Give us (the perception of having) a voice!

something like this

Inc has already stated multiple times (and even as recently as a few months ago) that he already intends to do this.

Better yet, add a paypal link to each issue/enhancement/etc, and let us throw money at the things we want to have priority.

I'm serious. Resources are thin. Developers are over-taxed. Stuff we want is balanced against things that keep the lights on. Let us help with the lights.

Yeah individually crowd-funded goals would work for VO, i've said this before when we talked about another kickstarter.

+1 to VO community funding. To quote Phillip Fry: "Shut up and take my money!"

I like Savet's idea, but I don't think GS has the resources to put into place such a great idea for generating more resources.

Greenwall, there's no reason this would have to be implemented by in-house resources. If GS could identify the business requirements, our community is very talented. Trade a year (or X amount) of play time for an approved solution spec and implementation.

It could be a closed bid, submit your solution to GS, and they choose the implementation they like the best. It's not completely off of their plate, but the heavy lifting is.
