Slight UI tweak for inventory.

Here's my thing...
Let's say I want to find my nearest Moth XC when I'm in odia. I move these around a lot, and usually only on one-way trips (out to latos with SSS in it, for example) so it's not something that is convenient to stockpile in a single station - so I'll go to my inventory to find my nearest one.

When viewing my inventory, I keep finding myself double clicking on the ship's location... I know it doesn't have any effect, but it seems fairly intuitive that this should plot a route to the station listed.

It's possible that this is only useful if you list the inventory by type.

So the suggestion is that when clicking on the location text of an item in the inventory list view, could we make it plot to that location (perhaps using a confirm dialogue)?

I may be completely alone in this, and/or it may be something that could be hacked together as a basic plug-in.

Any thoughts?

Seems like a good, common sense idea. This probably should be part of the basic UI. Plug-ins are a kind of stop-gap measure at times; since the devs are a 4-man team they don't always have time to get around to implementing things they want to. +1

This is an awesome suggestion.

+1 Maybe they could easily add a "route" button to inventory like they did to the mission board.

Interesting and noted. Will see what we can do.
