Conq Station Access
So, as I often do when I get a "Your station is under attack" message, I had a look at my keychain to see who had what station. I noticed an active user key for Latos H-8. Thinking this was odd, I inspected the key to find it provided "No Station Access". "Fairy Nuff" I thought, as there was no station in H-8 to have access to. This got me wondering who actually had I-8, so I looked deeper. I went though all of my keys, but found no clues there, other than who didn't have I-8. So I asked in 100, several times, as well as expressing my confusion regarding the mysterious H-8 key. Alas, no information was forthcoming, and my confusion grew.
Eventually, I decided the only reasonable way to solve this vexing conundrum was to take the station myself and solve the mystery for all concerned. So off I went with a few unlikely allies, and we proceeded to end the confusion for one and all. Then, once we were successful in our mystery solving endeavours, and I was safely ensconced in the station, I accidentally hit "new key", and had to try to remember peoples names and stuff. None of this has anything to do with my suggestion, I just thought you might all like some context for it.
As I've said in game, I don't much care who has conq station access, so long as I do. So, when I'm forced to take a station, I give keys to any and all. However, I'm pretty bad at remembering player names exactly, or what key management methods various guilds have.
On that note, I suggest a new button for owner keys, a "Leave the friggin' door unlocked" button (suggested button name only, others include the "Key is under the mat" button, or the "Who stole the door?" button). This would grant every player access without having to remember all the names etc.
Faille.

Nice story. +1
...i believe is better a sector message after u get in (I-8, M-14, C-12) to tells u whos have the station ....if is friend to can ask key or if foe to go and take the station.....
Conq station key management is a huge chore. :(
Faille the reason why you had a H-8 key is because when GS moved Production into the cloud, they stored their test conquerable station in H-8, as a blueprint for I-8. During the time of the CS being shifted into production, Lisa201 and I took the station and got the H-8 key. When production shifted back to Wisconsin servers, the station was removed, but the key remained.
But how was it "active", but allowing no access?
Either way, the H-8 key is unrelated, I was simply informed that long winded and unnecessary intros were fun, so I obliged.

+1 to the ability to steal doors. Yarr!

It was active because it was never re conquered. However the station reports no access because it doesn't exist anymore. The keys aren't really that smart :P
I'd even go so far as to say that the keys are stupid.
Owner Key 799 had access to all 3 stations. User key 800 under it only had 2 of them, and an additional User key 818 under it had all 3. How the heck this happens is completely beyond me...

I also had 2 identical (active) keys today...
KEYS NEED AN OVERHAUL
