I think it would be neat to be able to have furies or some sort of bot that shoot repair weapons at your ship either by some command or when you reach a certain %

That'd be cool until they run out of repair ammo because NPCs spam their weapons with blatant disregard to energy or ammo use.

Yeah. NPC's are as dumb as anything when it comes to energy usage.
