I think Tunguska should reverse engineer/modify a Corvus Greyhound and create a version with a Mineral Scanner instead of cargo scanner, or maybe even an Advanced Mineral Scanner.

Maybe it's a trivial/silly suggestion but if you're using targetless to map whole sectors then it makes a lot of sense, especially in sectors where the distance between roids is very large.

First of all, and last, there is the Warthog Mineral Extractor, which has a built in scanner. Don't be so lazy as to want one with infiniboost + 225m/s.

It's not being lazy. Lazy would be wanting to do less work, I'm not asking for that, I just want to be able to do the same amount of work but faster. That's not lazy, that's efficient!

So put a mineral scanner on a Cent.

Mineral scanner on a hound is faster. Just seems wasteful that it has an addon scanner builtin than I never use.

I know there isn't. Mineral Scanner on a hound is pretty much my standard loadout on hounds.

The hound comes from Corvus. Someday the faction system will be repaired to make having Corvus standing undesirable for certain types of character.

I don't know whether preempting that was the goal of this suggestion, but it would be the result regardless.
