This is really annoying if you're playing on an Android phone or OUYA. Every time you buy something, repair your ship, or reload your weapons it pops up a modal dialog box that you click "OK" on before you can do anything else.

These were added to show messages like "1x of Neutron Blaster purchased for 2222c" which are written to the chat area on normal clients. The condensed UI doesn't always show the chat area.

Can you guys replace that with a little text label that appears above or below the button that was clicked and fades out after a second or two?

I was just testing some plugin code and it turns out it does this for anything that uses purchaseprint().

This is fantastic when it does it on your HUD while trying to fly and all of a sudden there's a modal dialog covering your controls.

I am just going to +1 this again. This is one of those that really needs to be implemented, but that will never get a bunch of +1s cause few people know what it is (or care).

You can override purchaseprint and it works in the station UI, but that doesn't help the people this is going to frustrate: New players

People like us already know this game is worth playing, even despite it's shortcomings. We work around them and have for years, often to the point where veteran players totally forget they exist. (Hello TargetLess addicts!)
