Increase Capture Wait Period for Dock to Activate
Right now it's only 1 minute.

Should it not be something more sensible like 3 minutes?
The old value was 5 minutes? I don't think it should be quite so long with the new system, but it definitely should not be 1 minute.
Once that time is up, you're able to hold the dock for 30 seconds.

One minute is an eternity in pvp. Its fine as is.
One minute is not much time for people to get in from outside the sector. That can either be good or bad.
I'd like to see a solid 5 minutes, this gives a decent amount of time for pewpewbangbang in the sector.
it gives more time for the superior side to establish its hold over the sector instead of just a rush for the dock not to mention more time for tactical planning like regrouping outside the sector before jumping in just 2 minutes before the station can get conked and cleaning it up.

No one fought during the 5 minutes they all waited til 2 minutes were left then entered.
The time limit is irrelevant, the holding the dock is what matters now people just need to make sure they time their assaults a minute is fine 2 at the most

A minute is not enough to get back into the sector after you made a final bombing run.
I like the idea of a whole 5 minutes because it gives more flexibility in tactical planning whereas 1~2 minutes is rushed as fuck and only leaves room for "GOGOGOOGOGOGETTOTHECHOPPARIGHTTHEFUCKNOWORWELOSETHESTATION"

Well make it 5 if you want but allowing planning just means Itan will always win, make it shorter and our lesser intelligent enemies have a chance to catch us off guard.

It should be a random time between a range of 1-6 minutes or different for each station. I know there is intended to be a whole variety of rules of engagement for this gameplay, but as for the current implementation I think random is best to make it more interesting.

I like how he conveniently omits the Trident they lost the day prior doing the same thing. Thanks for the shiny new queengat ;)
Honestly, I *love* the king-of-the-hill 30sec capture time idea. It makes it a lot more fun except for one huge glaring problem: The whole-sector-no-damage bug has not been fixed yet! Once this bug triggers, the first person to park their lazy ass in the dock wins hands down no matter how many rockets you hit them in the face with.
Next time I'm bringing conc mines...
