I'd love a first person view where you essentially draw a flight deck over the game view.

Something like this but without character models/chairs etc.

The reason is that in 3rd person I can't see what's in from of me, which is especially important in battle.

How can I access ordinary first person on my ouya? :)

That'd be cool on big capital ships like the Trident. :)
