make it so other pilots can see it but the miner cant ... it is fricking annoying

Haha, I have an old build of VO copied that I occasionally play. On it you can't see weapons fire and mining beams and everything cos they have changed the graphics ID's.

I guess you could do this in the interim, but its not ideal.

Ah. Heh, you're right. Close your eyes then and set your proximity alert. :P MAID will make a noise when your cargo is full.
