Constant Damaging in Monitored sectors triggers tempKOS
Such as consistently attacking/damaging a trident in Monitored space of UIT.
The person must be Admired or higher, seems a nice perk of being up that high.
Triggers TempKOS, and sends SF to destroy the attacker.
Once the attacker is TempKOS, attacks on the attacker are allowed in self defense.
It doesn't make much sense that being attacked in monitored space should be consistently allowed on an Admire or higher pilot.

Depending on how "consistently damaging" is defined, I could probably support this.
I found that to be the hardest thing to define, but since the client does track damaging, perhaps 5-10 hits?
So, you're proposing to extend the station NFZ outward to encompass all of monitored space ?
Please no... There's already enough places where we can't shoot people.

TempKOS is annoying and glitchy, no expansions please
No.
No arf. The NFZ triggers instantly and gives no flips about faction.
This is completely different. It only applies to admired people, which means you'd take a permanent penalty if you killed them anyway. And since you'd have to land 5-10 shots within whatever timeframe before it even triggers, and since it takes time for the SF to deploy and get within range, they shouldn't actually interfere with anyone competent who's fighting anything smaller than a Trident. (And vs. a trident, the current SF would probably be more help than hindrance, assuming you're nimble enough to avoid the aernas.)
I really don't see any issue with this.
I have one stipulation though: Corvus space should not do this. It would be nice if other grey factions also ignored it, leaving it a nation-only function, but I don't really care that much. But keep it out of Corvus. Keeps their space a little more dangerous, and allows continued use of their station sectors for easy sparring and bus-wars without the SF getting in the way.

I see what you mean. Corvus space should be exempt from this, as they are exempt from laying varying faction penalties as it is.

Right, but it's the same idea. What's one or two shots on something that has a hull with 1mil armor? Nothing.
We already have plenty of incentive not to shoot at other players in a game where the best gameplay mechanic is shooting other players. Let's not add more.

Twice the damage what a reasonable bump would do?
This seems like one of those desires that come out of an irrelevant and broken faction system. I get the idea and it makes sense, I just think the faction system needs to be beaten to death with a fixit bat.
PaK, when was the last time you bumped something?

Actually, it has more to do with Tridents not having shields...
