Speciallized powercells
So I was buying some equipment for my ship the other day and I think "Gee, the "Other" section is quite bare, we should spice it up a bit."
So anyways, new types of power cells. For example: Fighter Powercell, advanced.
Mass: 100
Capacity: 700
Recharge: 40/s
(Note: Decreases to 20/s at 20-25% and 90-65%)
Description: Made for military use only. Huge capacity, but slow recharge rate especially at jump points.
Trader Powercell:
Mass: 500
Capacity: 100
Recharge 50/s
Description: Made for commercial use.
etc, etc.
Please don't argue over stats, cause life's too short for that.

You notably left out grid power, which is one of the limiting factors.
Fighter: 26, so you can hook up 2 plasma annies or 3 ravens, you're just not going to jump quickly with them.
Trader: 5 - You only need one mine launcher anyways. Maybe a cargo spoofer.

These stats are a little strange. I definitely agree that more powercell variety is needed, but this thread is unnecessary; I would be astounded if the devs haven't noticed the half-dozen powercell threads in the past year or so and added it to their to-do-eventually-probably list.

Actually, if you need more variety, the PCC can make manufacturing missions for the EXTREEM Drain Power Cell, Improved Drain Power Cell, and the High Drain Power Cell. I really don't think people know lots about the power cells before the EXTREEM Drain Power Cell, the Improved and High Drained Power Cells are not even mentioned in the wiki.
...the what? The extreme drain has a stupidly long mission to get it, but those other powercells don't exist (anymore?).
Yeah, the extreme drain one may as well not exist.
This is what I would like to see done with the powercells, or at least something along these lines.
