The license level bar on the HUD quickly becomes irrelevant once you're done with the early game/training parts. I suggest adding some other options for it that might be more useful in the long-term:

- Cargo hold capacity (Currently visible on the HUD as long as you're not in a group, but only numerically. Hard to tell at-a-glance)
- Weapons ammunition (Also visible, but in even smaller numbers than the cargo! Lots of plugins have been made to address this already)
- Mission status info, such as roids remaining to be scanned or bots left to kill.

I'm sure people can come up with other useful things to do with this indicator.

Yeah since i've started messing with HUD elements for my colour plugin i'm starting to mod different parts of the HUD more and more. I've been deleting things like that indicator area and trying to replace it with stuff but it's not as simple as first envisioned.
