Prospecting, Scanned Roids.

It might be a little less tedious if the scanned roids changed color in your radar from grey to another color. It gets aggravating trying to remember whether you scanned a rock or not especially if the ore is not the most common. Perhaps being orange or yellow.

Isn't targetless plus the 'target nearest unscanned roid' enough functionality?

Definitely possible with a plugin to colour the HUD selection element based on whether or not its scanned, would be immediately obvious when you select it whether youve scanned it or not.

In terms of changing the colour of the actual asteroid this is not really plugin possible.

That sounds like a TargetLess feature request.

Yeah it is, it's only a function into targetless and you'd use the radar table colour function to change the colour. You could even change it to be colour coded based on what the majority composition of the rock is.

I was thinking about it when I was running prospecting missions, but it would still be useful doing regular scans..

I wasn't aware this was available.

While good features will often get built into plugins first, being available in a plugin should NOT exclude them from game implementation. Look at some of the more commonly used plugins. If 95% of people are running a plugin to be effective, then it should be incorporated into game design.

Turrets should be automatic
Itani should not be able to buy proms
Serco should not be able to buy valks
SVG's should have 54 turbo drain
Pirates should be KOS UIT
People should not be invincible in capital systems
Mining should actually be worthwhile
Furies should attack things on their own
Conc railguns should be reloadable
Gats should be less profitable
Conquerable stations should be bearable
