Force new players to auto-join channels 100 and 11 after leaving the training sector
So when the Android port was released we started seeing a new influx of players constantly asking the same questions over and over and over. People complained requesting that new players be restricted to channel 1. With the change to training sectors being instanced, new trial accounts were limited to channel 1 until they completed Training 3 and left the training sector, at which time they are informed that they can join other channels. Now we have the problem where new players are mostly ignoring the fact there are other channels and using the Help channel as a General Chat channel.
I'd like to suggest that when new trial accounts complete Training 3 that they are auto-joined to channel 11 and channel 100, though they should probably have their current channel remain channel 1.
Further, this would address the additional problem of new players not seeing other players chatting and asking if anyone plays the game; most long-time players don't chat on channel 1 unless someone is asking a question.

Noted. We'll take a look at this.
I woulld suggest they auto join these channels after the basic flight test, so more of their questions may be answered on training four and five.
+1 nahin
Training V is worded from the perspective of someone who is logged in to channel 100 already; I think draugath's suggested implementation makes the most sense.

Make joining the channels part of their earliest training - not something that happens automagically. Note that they can join and leave any channel, including 201 and 202 for CtC.
Lecter, they already don't read the training missions, what makes you think they'd actually join a channel if another tutorial/training mission instructed them too?
EDIT: Okay, that's a little exaggerated, but it seems like it sometimes.

+1 op.

They equip stuff and undock, don't they? Make following the prompts to join the comm channels requisite steps in leaving the station.
