Am I the only one who thinks that Earth should make a re-appearance somewhere along the line? What with the expanded universe coming up in 1.9/2.0, now would be a great time to re-establish contact.

It's been 2000 years, we had to have found a new way out of the Solar System by now.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd play an Earther character in a heart-beat.

The isolation is god for creating an separated, alternativa universe, without the demographic explosion. Earth/ Sol1 system wormhole could reopen, but would break entire economics, politics,etc. with its population and power.

And spread out even more our small population.... Maybe if one day we start having problems with too many players, and they open new servers in europe and china...

Or we could have a botanical invasion! : ]

Or perhaps the area around the Sol system is inhabited by uber-bots that wiped out the rest of humanity. Could be a good scene for those shipwrecks and debris fields.

Yes I'd love for earth to make a re-appearance, be highly imperialistic about the territory they have re-discovered, be massively technologically advanced and force the serco/itani to put aside their differences and fight together to survive and maintain independence.
