More information (missions and gear)

I'd like to know, when taking a mission, a few other things:

1. how much standing will be achieved for success
2. how much standing will be lost for failure
3. in those hive missions, if the standing is a certain value/bot killed, then it's value

And, when buying gear, many of them are restricted. Some because of licenses, others because of standing, and other b/c other reasons.
I'd like to know exactly what do I need in order to be allowed buying those gears. For now, it only informs the exact licenses needed. Still needs to inform:

1. Standing required
2. Badge riquired
3. PKs required
4. "don't know what else" required

Because it is not the same requirements in every station.

+1, for completeness sake.

It's not fun when you see something that your newly achieved license should allow, only to find out it requires something else... almost like secret requirements, or depends on /100's good will ...

tells you everything you need to know about what is needed for badges, ships, weapons

No Sleepy, it doesn't.

Sleepy, is the VO-wiki accessible in-game? (I proposed this before, trivial using lua)
Also, if we have a "datasheet" of each component/item/faction, why not make it complete? How does "secret requirements" improve gameplay?

Yeah I agree with the premise of the O.P which is the missions are fairly vauge. A total mission description revamp would be a good thing for the PCC to do and might be possible in the 1.9 mission editor, we just need expanded permissions for the PCC to get in there and add text explaining this stuff.

It's all fairly easy to learn though and you do eventually remember the information without a hassle

I don't like the idea of missions that advertise numerically how much they impact your stats, other than as they happen or at the end of the mission. "Take this mission to receive a +40 faction bonus on successful completion!" just seems like a bad idea to me.

I do agree that equipment requirements could stand to be more clear.

+1 pizza's idea... indeed, we need complete reqs for equipament, but not stat's numeric value for missions.

If you can see a mission then your stats are enough, or else it is invisible. Maybe mark different missions you can repeat or not... and surely no numeric standing displayed.

Directing someone to a third party resource is not a reason something should not be implemented.
