Preserve gunners after logoff/disconnect
If you're a gunner (via /gunner invite or docking on a Trident) and you get kicked off or log off in flight, you don't get put back onboard the ship no matter how fast you log back in.
I suggest we change that. If the ship you were on board is still in the same sector when you log back in, the game should put you back on board if there's room. That way one connection hiccup doesn't send /gunner invite-d gunners back to their home stations and doesn't put docked ships on a Trident potentially kilometers away from the ship they were docked with.

+1, but rather than require the ship to simply be in the same sector, require it to have not left the sector (even if it returned before you logged back in).
+1 makes sense... return to turret if re-login before capship leave sector, or 5min, whatever comes first.
What you mean "kicked"? If by capship owner, then does not apply.
Interesting how it intersects with the Ferrydent proposal

This is actually what I was going for. Thanks for clarifying that detail.
By kicked I mean logged off or disconnected by the game. Not kicked out by the Trident pilot. Alloh, I'm not talking about using this to cart ships around for people.

+1 I can see how this would be annoying
