Extend it to 16 hours in-game or something like that for the duration of and perhaps until a month after the KS. I'm on the fence about extending the trial permanently, but as a KS update, you could announce that you're elongating the trial.

Well, yes, either that or open up the whole game for free to play while kickstarter is online or something, could be a really clever move that would certainly drum up some interest and press.
