OSX Suggestion: cmd-tabbable fullscreen
I believe the OSX subforum is meant to be more of a user-moderated place for OSX-specific issues, rather than a place for suggestions the developers will read, so I think I'm posting in the right subforum.
As of OSX version 10.6, there is a new recommended method of creating fullscreen OpenGL windows which allows them to work better with the rest of the OS (cmd-tab support, etc.) It would be nice if Vendetta would take advantage of it when available.
Apple's developer documentation describes how to do this here and here.
This would benefit ~90% of OSX users, according to these stats.

+1, but only if implemented as an option.
Creating a fullscreen window has the advantage of allowing cmd-tab, but there is also the disadvantage that pop-up messages will be displayed over the window and keyboard/mouse will lose focus. It would be annoying to be killed because of a system pop-up saying it's been a week since you've last backed up your hard drive. Keep the true fullscreen mode that is currently used around for those that prefer it.

Not being able to do this angers me.

Also, on a side note, I *think* if vo crashes which it sometimes does because my computer is crap, it also doesn't allow you to force quit (option-command esc) like most other applications do when they crash. Not that its your fault, my computer has a ton of places in memory where if you try to access it the program just crashes instantly for no apparent reason. Then, instead of just restarting vo, I have to restart my whole computer, which I mentioned was crap so the entire reboot process takes on the order of 10 minutes. Very annoying.
This certainly seems like something we should do (when is another matter), modulo Meridian's observation (I've been annoyed by such popups myself). I'm just guessing, having not dug into the issue, but it may be difficult[1] to provide an option. I made a ticket for investigating the subject.
[1] or at least result in a minor maintenance nightmare.
Crusader: If you really have to live with that, you could look into this: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BadRAM - sadly, there's nothing like it for windows or macos, afaik.

I would love to have an option for full screen window size instead of having only full screen or window. Blizzard has this also and works perfect when using a dual screen.
I'm using two 24" monitors and 1 turns black on full screen, but windowed mode give a relative small window. So resizing the window to max screen would be very welcome.

Crusader, try shift+option+command+escape for 3 seconds to forcequit a fullscreen app.

Alright, thanks CD I'll try that next time it freeezes; been freezing a lot less frequently now that I moved down from 1280 to 800 pixels for the rendering.
