Very long, didn't read all of it, still busy, but:
Adding an option for people to purchase key-codes is something we've had on the back burner for a long time. A lot of people have wanted that kind of thing, just to help out a guild-mate who is running low on funds, or whatever. It'd just let you buy regular subscription time, in key-code form (1 month, 3 month, 6 month, whatever). The keys could be applied by our same usual system.
We'll implement this eventually, but not right now.

Cool.
Thanks for the update I look forward to this option
Purchased key codes sounds good, and should be distributable to anyone you wish to give them to including new players
That is exactly what I would like to do

Your response is simply inadequate and assumes much that simply isn't true
Dev's now indicate that purchasable key codes are in the works and it's a great idea in my opinion and glad to hear it.
Do you think something is creepy about them for doing this or should you retract some of this garbage ?
You also assume that there must be some reason to know these people and somehow it's creepy to give away purchased keys or free subscriptions to people.
There is no reason to even know them at all and even so I see no problem here either.
I play other games with people in guilds, clans etc. Both free and paying games
Some players give me trial codes and some 21 day subscriptions to games. They want me to join their clan which I actually do feel sort of attached to joining their clan.
However, in reciprocation to their friendly gesture not in some strange way that you are assuming.
Other game clan members keep in touch on team speak channels by the hundreds and share other games they play
I have trouble recommending a game knowing in advance there is not much going on here and not a lot of people in the game to begin with.
I wanted to do what I have stated many times to help build the customer base in bulk not in 1 or 2 at a time.
If I give 5 friends keys in a month it's not going to produce 1 subscriber because of the paradox of the lack of players that goes along side of this topic
The current level of subscribers cannot distribute enough friends keys to create the level of subscribers needed to create this immersion they want to create.
I could see the current friend system working if there was 100+ current subscribers online at any given time then it would be a self generated traffic system as it should be.
The lack of players creates a paradox for the 14 day friend system that is the same trouble any business has which is NO traffic system at all.
Another thing you assume is that you know everything about promoting products and services. And by your statements it's clear that you do not.
Ok I'll assume you won't admit this and instead lets assume you that you do know so much about promoting of products and services.
How do you propose to get new VO customers ?
I can't wait to hear this
P.S
I do like the game and actually did consider paying for some subscriptions for people to play the game. Especially for those who currently play free games knowing they didn't have the money to play VO but would like to play.
Additionally I realize that the indirect exposure to the game and the increased player activity would also attract other paying customers simply by product awareness alone.
Non paying customer awareness equates to paying customer awareness and customer trial accounts
Currently works on many other promotions as well regardless of the direct customer conversion but more for conversion of the indirect customer and the product awareness to those who would or might pay.
The result is the same product awareness = customers
Longest P.S ever lol

This is exactly right
Criticism on my ideas to attempt to attract new players / customers, so I consider what is suggested get my friends to play.
Knowing this is not really a solution for the overall problem but, ok sure why not ?
I decide to expand on this to even go outside the circle of friends and family but also why not business associates, customers and maybe more. And sure why not actually pay for some subscriptions so there might be player activity.
I have some money and time to play why not ?
And now look what happens. Good Grief
I get the impression there are those who don't want any more players.
Anyhow I think this one is done, inc indicated it's in the works so that's good.

Have you ever heard of summarising your fucking massive walls of text? Try it sometime, and we might read your posts.
Or have a TL;DR.

I'm sorry your inability to comprehend has left you with hurt feelings. I will however stand by everything I have said in this thread. I regret that I don't feel the need to repeat myself endlessly, so if you feel the need for a more in depth response from me, then by all means re read and try to understand my previous posts.
I have no interest in responding to your query in defense of an argument or position your own imagination created for me.
Again, I have no retractions to make to anything I've said. Rather, your post has left me questioning your ability to comprehend rather than doubt my position.
