It would be cool to link the two games wouldn't it? A Minecraft server instance would represent life on an individual planet and Vendetta would be adventures in space between planets.

Rulers of the planets could rule in any way they wanted. It would make joining a corp so much more meaningful and fun. Maybe it wouldn't be joining a corp anymore but instead a society or nation.

This would set up so many interesting dynamics that it would become a shut up and take my money kind of game IMO.

Minecraft servers seem easy to set up as there are gazillions of them out there. This could be hand waiving but it seems there's a lot of plugins available for minecraft servers that would make integrating the two games mostly a set of database operations and some programming bits on the Vendetta side to integrate Minecraft items and some sort of mechanism to allow transfer of item between planets.

Yeah.......no. Not gonna happen. For a lot of reasons. With most of them being in the "Legal system" category.

They already have a Vendetta Meets Minecraft game it's called Limit Theory google it.

Limit Theory is all procedural generation. Scrumbleship is minecraft + VO.
