Ok, I give up. No guild-exclusive... Just designed to be done by organized groups of players.
But still like the idea of creating/destroying in-game big structures. Always liked it!
What about, the station being assembled in smaller parts, all connected, all destroyable?

I just want my own station I dont care if its big/small destructable give me it now : )
I would love to see something where you could buy a constuction ship or port and with that build a station. This way you could make the ability to buy the ship a quest reward whereby you have to have a petition signed by a certain number of players. This would limit the number of players eligible, stop short term players setting up a station somewhere then not returning and not require you to be in a guildI it would be easier if you were but setting a limit of two or three stations per guild would restict the number of stations and impose a hieracy of sorts within guilds (Station owners being able to set guild members to hostile), if the player leaves the guild the station stay with the guild not the player. Additionally, manufacturing bays (seperate bays for mining/trade/combat) could be added to the station via the construction ship.
I think this would help create more "territories" and combat. Setting up a station in a sector with a rich mineral deposit would bring attention to other players and the NPC's that mine the area aswell, which could lead to corporations leading an NPC assault on your station.
The crafting suggestions I've seen have all revolved around taking mats to an NPC station and hoping they build something for you. I feel the point of crafting is to develop a skill to the point where other players seek you out specifically and the idea of dropping stuff then hoping for the best isn't working for me. This way there is somewhere you and your friends have access to and a library of blueprints that people will seek you out for. Blueprints could be obtained through missions or from other stations using the license restrictions.
Hopefully I havn't just repeated things people have been saying for years.
