Bring back pirate bots/unrats
Because they were so cute!
long wanting to bring back the unrats. hell yeah :)
Give me unrats, or give me death!
Yes.
As long as they don't mass up and bring tumbleweed to previously populated areas. :P
Trollcarnate is on a roll today. haha
just putting them at the odia wormholes would solve that issue.
slime,
let them mass up. It'll give the "anti-pirates" something to do.
We also have unkillable transport ships now (Tridents)

They killed half of greyspace the last time that happened.
its okay, if they get out of hand we can just go get some beam cannons and sort em out
my vote remains the same:
+1 to unrats, but make them BOTS, hive bots behaving as pirates, riding in packs with assaults and transports, pillaging any LOADED HAULER and its escorts, and ignoring empty fighters.
Unrats, botrats, hive scrappers, whatever name... so even newbies can tell the difference between a PC and NPC pirate/attacker... bots don't dialogue!
AND relate the total number of active unrats to playing people.
With those 2 measures we can simply avoid them obliterating grayspace... and add FUN to boring, featureless escorts/convoys.
Then, since they are Hive BOTS, spread them everywhere, including nation space, where they are weaker compared to grayspace hive rat packs...
