I think it would be beneficial for VO to get to this platform, most likely it would be easier than get into Steam and I think that since it is Open Source and with a Linux client, it might be a good catcher for VO, maybe, even a better one than Steam

Looks interesting.

I used to use this for the HIB games when they included Desura keys. Didn't the people at ModDB make this because they didn't like how Steam handled addons/mods?

I am not sure, I just found it a while ago and since then I am using it.

I don't know if that is the case but I think I do not like where I see steam going either and I like indies.
