Shield blobs should "block" any incoming ordnance. But to balance it, make Rail Guns be able to cross it. Say it's because of speed. Is it possible to colorize this explosion, so all shield hits become a yellow or blue explosion?

Mines should depend on their own trigger to work. So contact (lightning) only triggers ordnance that touches it, while proximity fuse (conc,prox,TU) activates and triggers also any ordnance within its blast. (ordnance explode colorized per mine type, except conc??)

Consequences? Better defenses and a very efficient way to clear mines, if you are slow.

Overall, +1

This adds a few layers of complexity to combat.

Backrolling a moth with swarms and mines now has a higher chance of the swarms detonating the mine.

Dropping mines behind you creates an effective countermeasure for flare chasers.

Alternatively, using flares can clear mines from your path.

All good improvements.
