Make concussion railgun reloadabl.

Since TU mines are now reloadable, please consider making the concussion rail gun reloadable.

I desperately want to start incorporating this weapon into my arsenal, but cannot justify it when it cannot be reloaded. Make it expensive if you wish, but make this weapon something other than a novelty.

For those unfamiliar, here are the stats. We could argue that the stats are....subpar, but that's a separate discussion.

Yes please.

Yes the stats are pretty bad, but all the more reason to make it reloadable.

The stats by themselves can be misleading. When equipped on a Prom or a Taur the ConRail can be very effective (I know I lost the last fight, but a majority of the damage I dealt was due to the ConcRail). The larger shot size combined with the higher velocity makes it hard to dodge, and it also has a concussive stun effect.

I wouldn't mind if they were reloadable, but if so I would need to change the mission text in several of my missions and I would want to reduce the number of ConcRails received in the manufacturing mission(s); I knew the ConcRails were one time use only when I designed the manufacturing missions around them and so I gave additional rails for what I considered a reasonable effort.

Yeah its pretty pointless to even bother getting it since the stats suck so bad and oh you can't reload it. That quite literally makes it the worst weapon in the game. I'd rather have a gov blaster in a fight than that thing.

I think smaller qty produced is a fair tradeoff. Say....2 like the widowmaker?

Those have always been reloadable. What changed was the capacity and possibly damage.

+1 to the OP, a non-reloadable weapon is just stupid.

+1 Balancing based on something not being reloadable is a bad idea.

If it's good, there will be someone stockpiling it, so the availability will not be an issue.
If it's not good, why does it need to not be reloadable?

It would at least be an improvement.

Non-re-loadable weapons for normal combat ships have no practical use, and what we need are practical things for people to make to stimulate player trade.

But the better solution is to make them re-loadable so people will start using them. Things can always be tuned later, but there's nothing to tune if we have no data.
