Storage: ability to compartmenalize or hide
This is a low priority request, but it would be nice if we could limit the station inventory we have to what we are immediately working with.
Please elaborate on how you would implement this, especially how you would define "what we are immediately working with".
Are you envisioning a hide checkbox that when enabled hides all inventory at a station except for cargo that has been unloaded in say the last 15 minutes? And on which PDA tab would this be feature be present? The Commerce -> Load/Unload tab?

I read it as a request to group cargo into bins. I could have one bin for junk I want to sell to players, another for junk I want to use to build a superlight, another for proc goods, etc.
Right now I do this at some stations by storing the items in moths, which works to a point, but is a bit cumbersome.
I'd prefer either the ability to compartmentalize items to a specific 'storage room' or a check box for items so that items can be displayed or hidden when selected. A system that only displays recent additions doesn't really work for me because, when I'm manufacturing, I'm using goods I've stored up days or weeks ago.
As I said, this is low priority because I'm certainly having no difficulty managing items as the system currently works. I just think it would would make things a bit more convenient.

storage rooms would be nice - doubly so if they could be shared by key access
