/centerview X Y
Give us a function (lua or text command) to center the view on XY screen coords?
So I can center the main view on monitor 1, then put lua widgets all over monitor 2 without blocking the center (most important) part of space.
eg: /centerview 960 540
Would set the center to be at 960x540, which would put it in the middle of a 1080p monitor, then a second monitor would be free to fill without blocking the important bits.

Being able to customize the way the game works on multiple displays would be pretty sweet.
The hud positioning would need work as well. The "center hud to 4:3 region" option could follow the /centerview, but we'd also need a 16:9 and 16:10 versions, and maybe other ones if there are other popular display ratios. Or just make the ratio arbitrary so people can define whatever (maybe they want to use only half of their single wide-screen, since they don't have dualscreens and are data-addicts).
Speaking of weirdness like that, does VO handle portrait configurations in a sane way? Knowing the playerbase, I bet there are some who would prefer using their monitors sideways to fit more lines of code or something.

You guys are thinking too hard about this. All you need is one command, and not one specifically center anything. Centering is meaningless unless your viewport has definition, but your viewport can easily be defined to the dimensions of your desktop area, negating the need for a center command. And yes, this is something that is already done in other games to achieve basically what you are requesting.
