Visible/Targetable buoys to mark NFZ
Add Visible/Targetable buoys to mark NFZ - NFZ penalties are a lot more harsh now, and being able to tell whether or not your *target* is inside the NFZ is important. As of right now, you can only tell when your own ship is in the NFZ.

While you're at it, add an indicator in the target display thing about whether the target is inside the nfz as well. Maybe go all the way and add an indicator to warn you ahead of time if you'll take a penalty for killing him (since by default people cannot see local standings, and would have to install a plugin or shoot at them to find out, and it would also help newbies know who is safe to shoot).

None of this will help save the noob who fires stingrays at me outside the NFZ but who gets assraped by the SF after I run back inside the NFZ and let a missile hit me...

And what about that, instead of Buoys, we use TURRETS? Just like ConqStations, inside turrets is NFZ.
They even can be weaker turrets, or anti-capital ones.

No. Militarizing the no-fire zone kind of defeats the purpose.

Buoys arranged in a 2D plane might look okay, but the NFZ is 3D, and it would just end up looking silly.

You do realize, jarhead, that the issue here is letting noobs know when not to shoot us...right? We're all already perfectly capable of avoiding the SF after we stationkill nooblets...and we're not likely to stop doing so for shits and giggles anytime soon.
Some kind of mildly pulsing targeting reciticle when directed at a NFZ target is probably a good idea, tied to a tweak in the new pilot training missions.

-1, unnecessary. Newbies should be cautious shooting in an NFZ. Fly an extra 1km if you want to fight someone in a station sector. Just /explode in a bus at a different station if you trip it.
