IMHO a lot of sound effects in the game are pretty lame. It would be really nice if they could be overridden, either through lua or something like skins.

Music is different than sound and currently has more options to customize it through lua.

Right now you can add new sounds to the game with plugins (like I do with SoundAlertSuite), but there is no way replace existing sounds with your own sounds like spuck wants to do.
