Conq station edits
I will admit, In my opinion, conquerable stations are the coolest thing in VO. Especially if it is a "Guild" thing. Here are some improvements.
1. Make the stations have less powerful turrets. Seriously, My Rag3 takes like three gauss hits. BOOM. dead. The missiles from turrets 7 & 8 take out half of my armor when one hits. This makes it both expensive and frustrating. To top that off, there are always defenders so double the about of money spent. :(
2. Tell me if this is a cool idea. For conq stations, make a drop box inventory that all can put into and others can use. This would be useful because people like to bring in XCs and craft. It is a pain to have
to come outside and find the other player. Especually if it is Pel C12 and its fogged. To back up whole idea, make an option when you give a key to have access to it or not.
3. Make a trident hanger off to the side connected to them. People like to use tridents to manufacture and make more or something like that. :) :)
4. Purchase EC-88 from stations. P.S, Put the free small port weapon there too. :)

Ill give you this. EC-88, not such a big deal. It was just because of my presets and i don't think it would be to hard to add. Also, its not the matter of flying and dodging, its more if one of those Homer missiles hits you, your dead. And if the guild storage has been requested, when was that? And why isn't it there? The only reason I'm bringing this stuff up is it isn't hard to put into. Ok, the trident thing was a bit extreme but not guild storage dude.
Avoiding turret guass and missiles is not that difficult whether in nation space or at a conquerable station. It just takes a bit knowledge and skill mixed with enough practice. It is difficult enough for a defender do destroy a decent Rag pilot. The turrets are not a threat- especially when the station is undefended. What you want to do would effectively dumb down the game so that even newbies could take a station. Right now I think they've got a decent balance.
Guild storage and a better trade system between players has been suggested multiple times. You are better off asking the devs why these haven't been implemented yet, however I expect the answer will be a) working on matter of greater urgency or priority and b) doing so would require a significant modification to the game code or possibly c) it is planned as part of a future development as part of a structural change and that making those changes now when there is a workable solution would be wasted effort, then there is d) Soon(tm) There is no reason to believe that adding guild storage would be 'quick and easy'. We have no idea how much code or how many functions would be affected.

Also i forgot to add, Would it be possible to add the ability to rename the station when someone takes it. It always said "CONQUERABLE STATION turret 3" why not "[XXXX]'s Latos I-8 turret 3" or whatever they decide to name it when someone takes it.
Latos I-8 does need a name change. It's turrets say CONQUERABLE STATION because it was the original prototype. The other two say more descriptive things.

2. Making a "drop box" at the station would basically implement a free, perfectly safe in-station trade system for anyone docked there. I totally disagree that there should be such thing as perfectly safe trade, free or otherwise, anywhere in the game. Stations should trade in commodities though, which has been suggested before.

Yeah but remember, about the drop box, I requested the option to take away access to that drop box if they are using it irresponsibly. Also, at Capship Shipyards, with the guild storage idea, people that have access to the storage cache would be able to use the trident. So if the owner of the capship was not online at the time, other users of the drop box could use it. Like the checkmarks on the keys. Add a check that says if the user has the option to access the drop box.
If the drop box was totally open-access, such that any random person sitting in the station could grab the goodies before the intended recipient, then people might consider entertaining the idea. Even so, I'd still say no, because it's still too safe.
Better IMO would be a way to jettison cargo directly from the station, although as several people pointed out it would be a pretty ridiculous thing from a realism standpoint.
The best solution though would be "Forklift Wars Online". But I'm sure the devs have higher priorities.

Yeah good point. This whole idea was to point out that you can't share ships. Nor can you gift them to people. This is just countlessly stupid if it involves a trident
